Jesus calls us to Love Others! in his name. We want to make a difference in our world. Through service to others, we believe we share the hope that God gave us. Whether it is offering a hot meal or sharing the Gospel, we extend to others the love of God with everything we do.
The Food Bank The Upland Baptist Food Bank is a ministry dedicated supplying food to residents of our community who find themselves in need of assistance. The Food Bank is open every Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
Vacation Bible School For a week in July we hold Vacation Bible School event for neighborhood children from Pre-K to 6th Graders. We endeavor to introduce them to the love of Jesus with Bible stories, game crafts and service projects.
Monday Night VBS In order to have an ongoing relationship with the children in our neighborhood, every Monday night at 6:00 we invite children from ages 5 through 12 to join our Monday Night VBS program. The children receive dinner, hear a Bible lesson and a time of fellowship.
Grocery Bingo Members or our community are invited to play Grocery Bingo on the 4th Saturday of each month. Everyone who plays gets a door prize. Bingo winners receive grocery and food gift card prizes. It’s a time to share fun, food and fellowship with our neighbors and friends.
City Team Ministries Once a month, a group from our church prepares and serves a hot meal for the residents of the City Team Ministries shelter in Chester. City Team has many “helping projects”, and our church members are always ready to lend a hand.
Holiday Festivities Christmas is a not just the time to receive God’s love. We believe that the joy of Christmas is a wonderful opportunity for us to share our faith and our love with others in our community in many ways.
Memorial Day is a big event in Upland Borough! The parade though town includes marching bands, the police and fire departments, and local youth and community groups- and we are proud to march right beside our neighbors! After the parade, along with Upland’s Resurrection Life Church, we host a picnic for over 300 residents.
